This 12-unit project involved several design reviews: local community design review, national historical neighborhood review and City of Seattle review. H+dlT had to balance the needs of the development and the requests of all three reviews. The end product was a marriage of modern design and historic modulation and sense of community.
Design and presentation graphics were all produced in house which allowed for rapid response and a consistent product. The end product was praised by the local design review for sympathy to the existing neighborhood and for pushing the design into the 21st century.
H+dlT was integral in the initial phases of the development, having found the site and creating the base proforma for marketing the project.
